Edgar Brothers  has announced the addition of a new rifle round to join the hugely popular Superformance family. Commissioned especially for the UK, the new Hornady Superformance .243 Win 75gr SST ballistic tip ammunition will appeal to shooters of foxes and small deer, such as muntjac.

Hornady’s Superformance range is 100-200 feet-per-second faster than conventional ammunition on the market, with no subsequent increase in recoil, muzzle blast, fouling or loss of accuracy. The ammunition uses ultra progressive propellants meaning bullets fly fast and flatter to outperform ammunition using conventional propellants.

Derek Edgar, Managing Director of Edgar Brothers, commented: “We commissioned Hornady to create a round especially for us.
